The Lewis Workplace Pension Trust embraces digital innovation to enhance member and employer experience.
London, October 14, 2025 The Trustees of The Lewis Workplace Pension Trust (TLWPT) are pleased to announce a major step forward in the management and delivery of the Scheme, following the successful implementation of a new pensions administration platform from Lumera.
This marks a key milestone in our ongoing commitment to provide members and employers with a reliable, efficient and future-ready pension service.
Putting members and employers first
By adopting Lumera’s modern and highly automated administration platform, TLWPT has established greater internal control over Scheme administration. This allows the Trustees to oversee every aspect of the member and employer experience, ensuring faster, more accurate processing, clearer communications and improved access to information about pensions and contributions.
To further align the administration service with the needs of the Scheme, the shareholders of Lewis Investment have demonstrated their commitment by investing in Lewis Pension Admin, a new dedicated administration company. This investment ensures that the administrator operates with the same values and priorities as the Scheme itself - focused on quality, transparency and the long-term interests of members and employers.
“This development marks a significant step forward for the Trust,” said Tim Lewis, Founder and Trustee of The Lewis Workplace Pension Trust. “With stronger internal control and a dedicated administrator aligned to our purpose, we can deliver a more responsive and member-focused service. Our partnership with Lumera provides the technology to support this vision efficiently and cost-effectively.”
A platform built for the future
The new Lumera system automates many key processes, including contribution validation, reconciliation, investment operations, and reporting, improving accuracy, consistency and timeliness across all administration functions.
This automation strengthens governance and data oversight, helping the Trustees meet regulatory expectations while ensuring high standards of service. It also positions the Scheme to adapt quickly to future developments such as the introduction of pensions dashboards and other digital innovations.
“Our aim has always been to deliver a pension experience that members and employers can truly rely on,” said Lee van Hoyland, Trustee of The Lewis Workplace Pension Trust. “This transformation, underpinned by the Trustees’ direct oversight and continued investment, ensures we can meet that goal well into the future.”
Continuing our journey of improvement
Following a successful six-month implementation, the Trustees and Lumera have launched a continuous improvement programme to introduce new functionality and refinements over time. This approach ensures that the Scheme remains agile, compliant, and focused on delivering the best possible experience for its members and participating employers.
This transformation builds upon TLWPT’s robust governance, strong investment performance, and enduring commitment to supporting employers and securing members’ long-term financial wellbeing.
