Help shape the future of TLWPT

The Lewis Workplace Pension Trust was established in January 2013 to help employers provide a high-quality workplace pension for their employees. Since then, we have remained committed to delivering value for money, strong governance and access to regulated financial advice for all members through our appointed adviser and Scheme Sponsor, Lewis Investment.

We are now seeking to appoint a new Non-Affiliated Trustee to join our Board.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about good governance and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the oversight and strategic direction of a pension scheme. Whether you are an experienced trustee or looking to take on your first trustee role, we welcome applications from individuals with a genuine interest in pensions and strong governance.

Who we're looking for

We are keen to hear from candidates from a wide range of professional backgrounds who can bring independent thinking and valuable expertise to the Board. In particular, we welcome applications from those with experience in:

  • Legal
  • Accounting or finance
  • Internal audit
  • Risk management
  • Governance
  • Internal controls

Above all, we're looking for someone who is committed, collaborative and motivated to support the long-term success of the Trust and the best interests of its members.

Support and development

We are committed to helping our Trustees succeed in the role. You'll receive a comprehensive induction programme together with ongoing training and development to support your continuous professional development and help you meet the regulatory requirements of being a pension scheme trustee.

Remuneration

An annual consultancy fee of £10,000 is payable by the Scheme Sponsor in recognition of the time commitment and responsibilities associated with the role.

Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses incurred in carrying out Trustee duties, including reasonable travel costs, will also be reimbursed in accordance with the Scheme's Expenses Policy.
